About Crossroads Collective

Crossroads is a large multidisciplinary clinic equipped to offer placement and supervision for practicum or internship students. This busy group practice specializes in Play Therapy, Child and Youth Therapy and High Conflict Separation and Divorce clients. At Crossroads there is also opportunity to gain experience with individual adult counseling, couples therapy couples, child, youth, and adult counseling. Why Choose Us

We offer students an opportunity to complete their practicum and internship requirements that compliment their academic training. In addition to the standard components of an internship, we also offer students a robust 16-week training program that focuses on skills, tools, policies, and overall professional development. At Crossroads Collective, we focus our internship program on graduate students, and may consider interns completing other programs such as diplomas. Following internship completion, students may be offered a paid position to work Fellowship position for an additional year with continued supervision and training in private practice. Following this two year program a counselor may be offered a paid position to work at Crossroads Collective as a fully licensed registered therapist.

Onboarding training that includes training on ethics, trauma, neurodiversity, gender affirming care, domestic violence, business acumen which includes and sales, marketing, blog writing, social media and more
Opportunities to lead group sessions both in person and virtually.
Collaborative Community Building Quarterly Meeting with all associates at the clinic and lunch and learn opportunities
Introductory Specialty training in Play Therapy and High Conflict cases.

Internship / Practicum

Our Placements

Internship placements are for students enrolled in Graduate or Masters programs. They exist for students who require direct client, group and professional hours to complete their graduate program.

Our cohort placements are Sept and January annually.

Current opportunities for placement: September 2024

Cost: $500.00

This cost holds your spot and also covers all marketing costs to advertise you on our website, and social media and with our strategic partners in the community.

Internship / Practicum

Fellowship Position (Paid)

Continued weekly one on one supervision with 5 different supervisors on staff on a rotational basis.
Continued Weekly group supervision with further specialized skills training
An educational grant to take further training in a specialized area of interest
Further extensive training in Play Therapy and High Conflict Separation and Divorce leading to a certificate in either program which includes both educational and practical training in our specialized playrooms and high conflict therapy rooms.
Opportunities to present and teach new interns various topics of interest to you while developing yourself and leading others.
